OK after a little searching i finally found something that will render a buffer as an image file. problem is i cannot seem to get MMF-fantastick to display an image of any kind. all i get are either blue or gray screens everytime i refresh.
i've tried pictctrl pictslider and fpic all with no luck. have even tried inserting a image load command into the mxj net.udp.send object in the [connection to iphone] patcher. i get no max errors, but no screen update either. all pictures draw fine in Max itself so that's not the issue.
are there special attribute settings for these objects (besides the scripting name) that makes an image file display in MMF-fantastick or is this not implemented yet? it seems like it should be possible but none of your example interfaces show pictures.
if not, can you instruct me where to place an ordinary Fantastick image load statement so that it draws to my current setup? also whether to use quartz or openGL statements.
sorry for all the questions – just getting frustrated with what should be an easy task comparatively.
BTW system is Macbook w/ newest max version with 10.6.0 + iphone 2G and 3.12 installed – installed just in case…
best,
scott
